NFC ID bracelets for camps and organised groups

If you run a camp, school activity or group trip, an ID bracelet may help someone find a contact when assistance is needed. Check the features of the specific model and decide in advance who will prepare and review each participant's information.

How the information is opened

Bracelets from the current production batch have one NFC chip linking to a web profile. Viewing it requires a compatible NFC phone and an internet connection. The chip does not store personal details for offline reading. The bracelet does not call emergency services or transmit a location by itself, and it does not replace the organisation's own procedures.

Checks before giving out a bracelet

  • Agree with families or participants who creates and maintains each profile, what it displays and who may access its link.
  • Review the emergency contact and test the bracelet with a compatible phone before the activity.
  • Prepare another way to access essential information if there is no internet, a phone is incompatible or its battery runs out.
  • Before assigning a bracelet to another person, ask the shop how to disconnect the previous profile and remove its data. Do not assume reassignment is automatic.

Ask about group packs

The shop lists packs of 20, 30 and 50 bracelets. Check current prices, availability and the features of each pack before deciding. For conditions covering use across different groups, setup and delivery, contact the shop before buying.
